Council to consider lawn height limit BY BOBBY CHERRY STAFF WRITER Some Bell Acres council members want homeowners to cut back on letting their lawns grow too high. Council members are expected to vote next month on a proposed ordinance requiring property owners to maintain the height of their lawns. • At issue in the ordinance is whether council members want to limit the height of grass and other vegetation on property. . “I will go against the height restriction myself. With all of this rain we’ve had, my grass was over 12 or 14 inches high,” before council President Dennis Young said he had a chance to take care of it. .
