He will become a fifth-grade teacher at the Academy this faU. . Zaluski will take up his duties in July, dirWti^ the program for 280 students in nursery school thrwigh sixth grade. He comes to the Academy from the Miami Valiey School, in Dayton, Ohio, where he is Lower School head. Zaluski holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s in educational administration, teth from the Universtiy of Dayton. The headmaster of the Miami School characterizes Zaluski as “a fine (educator and ah outstanding individual,” sdd Ms. Farin. Albert Dugan has lived on the • Sevi^ksUey Acadmey campus for more than two decades, guidii^ the Lower School through times , of growth and change. According Ms. Farin, “He has enjoyed a relatimiship with the faculty ba^ on respect and caring.’’ As the brad of the Lower School, he has taught at least one class per year until recently, when time has'not permitted him to do so, Ms. Farfiiiiiaid. Dugan commented, “I have missed the one-to-one relationship with the children and that’s what I am looking forward to most,” he said. His s(H)s, Mark (Class of 1981) and Mike (Class of 1984) are Academy graduates. Zaluski. has a wife, Sally, and two children, Zachary, 5, and Katelin, 3.
