SEWICKLEY, PA., SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 1909 No. 27 Si " 0\)& We66inoi yttard)" The "Wedding March," one of Gilbert's comedies, was successfully presented in the Auditorium on Monday afternoon and Tuesday evening, under the auspices of the Got Club of the Sewickley Valley Hospital. Each performance was largely attended by a very enthusiastic audience. Those taking part in the program played their parts in a very spirited and forceful manner, and the affair was artistically and financially up to the expectations of those having charge. The dancing was graceful and very pretty. Between the acts the audience was entertained with songs by Mr. Heathe Gregory, of Thorn street. The cast was strong, being local talent, and the production was laughable throughout. The main roles were ably handled, as was also every minor part. The electrical storm caused much favorable comment, and all the stage headings were particularly good. Frances Atwell played her part in a most fascinating manner. Mrs. Frederick Jones not only did her work well, but looked remarkably handsome. Miss Rebekah Miller, as the bride, did all that was expected of her, as she has taken important parts in quite a few amateur plays in the Valley. Important roles were were also taken by Mr. Howard Muzzy, Mr. Daniel Crane, Mr. W. W. Titus, Mr. H. M. Richardson, Mr. rJonald Thompson, Mr. Arthur Collens, Mr. Ray Murray and Mr. Philip Gundelfmger and Misses Jane Blair, Carolyn Slack, Elizabeth Nevin, Catherine Darsie, Helen Davis, Edith Tener and Mrs. Arthur Collens. Each did the part required in a most acceptable manner. The wedding party was perfect and natural. Those having charge of the stage settings Awre Mrs, DeWitt B. Nettleton, Miss Elizabeth Dickson and Mr. Philip Gundelfmger. Mrs. George P. Rose managed the entire play, and at the close of the second act she was called to the stage and presented with a beautiful bouquet of roses, 3 X. Ii
