Robert Ramsey ■ Ramsey Named To Jr. High Post At a special meeting of the Quaker Valley Board of School Directors, held in the Junior High School Library Monday evening, September 8, 1969, the election of Mr. W. Robert Ramsey • to the post of Junior High School Principal' was announced and the resignation of Mr.-William F, Baetz, former Junior High School Principal accepted with regret and with appreciation for his past services. Mr. Ramsey came to this region in 1941 when he was elected to teach in the fields of social studies ahd physical education as well as to coach the Junior High basketball team at Harmony Township. Before leaving that District in 1964 he had served as Administrative Assistant, Junior; High Principal and Supervising Principal. Mr. Ramsey was Director of Curriculum and Personnel at the Center Township School District for two years; Director of Federal Education Programs for the Beaver County Board of Education; and is at present Junior High School Principal in the Hopewell Area School District. A graduate of Slippery Rock State College, he received l)is Master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. 'Added graduate work has been taken at Temple University. Mr. Ramsey, with his family resides on Park Lane, Osborne. He will asstime his new position in the Quaker Valley School District upon his release from Ms » contract with the Hopewell Area School District. Mr. Baetz has been employed by the Warren, Pennsylvania Board of School Directors as a commercial instructor. In other business, the Board directed the administration to proceed with the necessary steps to secure final approval of the E.S.-E. A.
