A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of The James V. Brown Library to take suitable action on the death of J. Artley Beeber, Esq., was held on Tuesday, March 26, 1912. Present: Messrs. David A. Howe, in the chair; C. LaRue Munson; Rev. W. Northey Jones; Charles Lose; Henry D. Brown; J. Clinton Hill and the Secretary.
On motion of Mr. C. LaRue Munson duly seconded the following preambles and resolutions were adopted.
WHEREAS: J. Artley Beeber, Esq., who was, by the will of the late James V. Brown, designated a life member of the Board of Trustees of The James V. Brown Library, died on March 21, 1912, and
WHEREAS: During the difficult period of the erection, organization and establishment of the Library his fellow members of the Board ever found him courteous to them, attentive to the matters that were laid before him, and his advice and judgment of unfailing value, be it
RESOLVED: That the members of the Board of Trustees of The James V. Brown Library hereby record both their sorrow and their sense of loss, through his death, of a sincerely esteemed friend and high]y respected co-worker. And be it further
