A meeting of the Board of Trustees of the James V. Brown Library was held on Tuesday, January 3, 1911 at 4 p. m. Present: Messrs. David A. Howe, in the chair; C. LaRue Munson; J. Artley Beeber; J. Clinton Hill; and the Secretary. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The Librarian presented a special report in regard to book purchases and circulation together with methods of ascertaining the cost of any given circulation. The report was prepared in duplicate copies, and a copy handed to each member of the Board of Trustees. The Finance Committee presented the following report:- "The Finance Committee report an offer from the Executors of the Estate of James V. Brown, deceased, of certain bonds to complete the bequest in the will of Mr. Brown, and the Committee recommends the acceptance of the following bonds: Middlesex County, N.J. $20,000 4 1/4%'s due 1935-6. Norfolk, Va. $20,000 4 1/2 %'s due 1940.
