Feb. 5th., 1907. The meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order in the Mayor's office at 4.30 P. M., President Brown in the Chair. Members present were Messrs. Howe, Hill, Munson Foresman and Piper. The minutes of the last regular and of the special meeting were read and upon motion approved. The Treasurer reported the following bills:- Harman Brothers (on acc't) $2000.00 Art Metal Construction Co. (in full) $1848.00 Heinigke & Bowen (in full) $1150.00 Century Stained Glass Works (in full) $175.00 (all of the above approved by the Architect) Bennett & Woodnut $14.01 McCormick & Herdic (Insurance on Paintings) $67.50 Upon motion of Mr. Munson, duly seconded, it was : RESOLVED :- That, the Executors of the last will and testament of James V. Brown, deceased, be and they are hereby requested to pay to the Treasurer of these Trustees the sum of Seven thousand Dollars ($7000.00) on account of the legacy of ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($150,000.00), bequeathed to these Trustees by the said last will and testament of the said James V. Brown, deceased, this amount being necessary to be used on account of the payment of construction and furnishing of the said Library Building
