AGENTS WHO STEAL PICTURES 260 7..".it" Many housewives of the borough have been bothered for a long time by agents of portrait companies who want to enlarge photos, make crayons, pas-tels, etc. Their plan is to ask for a picture to enlarge (or nothing, on bringing the iinislicd crayon however, they have it in a fancy frame. Then the woman is told thai the frame will cost four or live dollars, and that the picture is giv-en providing she buys the frame. If she refuses to take the frame they then "back out" of their original agree-ment. Furthermore, they refuse to re-turn the small picture which was loan-ad, the usual excuse being thai It can't be found. A resident of Sixth avenue said that an agent look her son's pic-lure out of the album when she left .e room for a moment, and afterward be showed II to neghliors claiming that It was given him and to create new business. Most of these firms are located In Philadelphia and they realize that more money would have to be spent to recover their small photo than it la really worth. These firms should be boycotted If not Jailed and their agents chased out of the town. :,u Subscribe for the RECORDF.R WHITE MAN TURNED YELLOW (irent consternation was felt by the friends of M. A. A.
