On receipt of the said statement tho auditor general shall draw warrants upon thu treasury of tba com-monwealth In favor uf the treasurers of the counties from which the said state-ments ahull have been received for the sums therein stated to be due, aud the state treasurer is hereby directed to pay the said warrants. Sec. SI. At the opening of the lulls In each voting place the seals of one package shall ba publicly broken, and thu said pack-age shall he opened by the judge of elec-tions. The cards of iustruction shall be Immediately posted at ur lu each voting shelf or compartment provided in accord-ance with this act fur the marking of the ballots, and uut less than three such cards and uut less thou five specimen ballots shall be Immediately posted In or about the votlug room outside the guardrail, and such cards and specimen ballots shall be given to any voter at hla requeat. Tha second set of ballots shall be retained un-opened by the reapectlve judges of election until they are needed fop the purposes of voting.
