Mam F Meyers stating ihat Fourth I avei bad been opened by the conn in 1890, that a grade had been adopted by council inn that the street had never heei, mailed. He therefore ask ed that the street be graued Immed-iately, or that his clients would go Into Conn ami ask thai ihe Court compel the Council to have the street graded. There was very little discussion Of this. Council claims that the grading' would cost too much money, and lf| the Court wants m compel the levying of a tax for the grading of this street, wh) council would be glad to have it I do so. Mr, Clark, t.ie borough solicitor, and ' the sinei Committee, were requested to tell Attorney Meyers this A grade plan of Spring Mill av ie between Harry anu Poplar streets was adopted, it changes the present grade very slightly. An ordinance was presented vacal ing Second avenue. All ihe propert) owners except one have signed a re lease Of damages and the request lor the vacating. After considerable di cussion Council decided tlint the mem-bers would visit the avenue and BCl on Hie ordiance at the next meeting. The r iquest Of Henderson Supplee & Son for a street light near their null on Canal street was refused.
