William Elmer of tbe Middle division, and Supt. A. A. Cuthbert of the Cressou division, wen the speakers, while Mrs. Moore and family were tbe honor guests ot tbe aaeoeiatiou. Long yeara before its erection he had a vision of wbat aome day wonld be a reality. Mr. Moore's theatre of activity waa not alone confined to the erection of the Young Men'a Christian association building,but be was greatly interested io the advancement of the affairs of the boroagh io many instances. He frequently made suggestions to the town council, which, if acted upon aa he outlined, woald have materially advanced tbe interests ot tha boroogb. During bia activity he propssed tha changing tbe entries of tba streets of . tbe boroagh and thia possibly woold hsve been accomplished had he been permitted to live.
