Laird, 8r.: Hsrry G. Laird. Sr., died December 22od 1924, at bis lsts residence in Bellwood. Hs was born at Tiffin,. Ohio, Msy 8rd 1861, tbe son of Dr. Joho B. sod Jsne Wilson Laird. Sum**, ing him are a daughter, Mrs. Janet Laird McDonald, two sons, Hsrry O. Laird, Jr., sad J. Fred laird, snd ons sister, Miss Annie Laird. Since early life Mr. Laird hss resided in Bellwood. He was ons ot the engineering oorps wbich surveyed tbs routs of the Bell's Gap Railroad; waa Freight Agent at Lloydvilie and later became a U. 8. Postal Clerk, which position be held until his honorable retirement therefrom in 1928. For many yesrs Mr. Lair J was s con-tietant and devoted member of the Logan's Valley Presbyterian Church.
