July 18-21 with a four- day program of business and enter¬ tainment. Advance registrations are the largest In Lions convention history, and attendance is conser¬ vatively estimated to pass the 12,- 000 mark. In the past twelve month.s. under the presidency of Walter F Dexter, state superintendent of education for California, the International Association of Lions Clubs chartered 557 new clubs and registered a net increase In membership of nearly 20,000 making it the targest aervlce club in the United States and Can¬ ada, with nearly 3,300 clubs and 135,000 members. It was also announced that The Nazareth Band and probably other local musical organisations would be among this big family excursion and that .special arrangements Were on foot for a Nazareth Day Program in one of the fairs open-air audi¬ toriums. Escorts into the grounds will be furnished by the Fair Asso¬ ciation and other arrangementa to make the trip pleasant and easy for all to enjoy will be completed In due time. Tickets covering the entire trip, including admission to the grounds, together with information concern¬ ing the trip, will be in the hands of all members of the Nazareth Mer¬ chants Association this week. It was stated that tickets covering the en¬ tire trip from Nasareth to the Fair and return would not cost more than 13 15 for adults and 81.85 for children between 5 and 12 years of age. The plan.s are such that young and old aliice may take advantage ot this excursion without the usual risks of hazards of trafBc confusion, getting lost and tiresome waiting periods. A single ticket will take care of your every need, excepting your meals. There will be no objec¬ tions to basket lunch, but it was announced that ver>' good and tasty meals may be procurred for every member of the excursion within the grounds ranging from 50c to 73c and a circular giving names of these restaurants will tie furnished.
