No. 1 was delivered by Cterles Ute, wte was tte ftrst rural carrier appointed for tte local maU and Stewart Drach tte second. Mr. Drach car- 'fled Route No. 3. On September 1st, 1904 Route No. 3 was esUblished and had Oscar F. Wright as carrier. A fourth route was started February 'lat, IMS with Irwin Heiney as car¬ rier. Heiney died in 1M6 and Ifer- bert Snyder filled tte vacancy son was appointed to carry this route. In 1317 carrier Orach died and Snyder waa ve-appolnted to tate hia plaei on Route No. 3. Route No. 1 bad but two Philadelphia Records, Haydn Creation Rendered A large audience of music-lovers heard and commended the rendition of Haydn's "Creation" Friday even¬ ing in tte High school audltoriuni. by the Nazareth Choral Society. The great oratorio was eflectively and inspirlngly rendered, accompanied by a capable orchestra which was directed by S. Wavrek. Arrange¬ ments for tte orctestra were made by Jesae Kreldler, of town. . The oratorio consisted of three parts, representing tte creation of tte world and all living creatures In six daya Tte chorus of 135 sang in an inaplrlnt maimer tbrougteut tte oraCorfo. Tbey were accompanied by a capable orctestra, directed by S. Wavrek, consisting of four flrst vio¬ lins, three second violins, viola, cello, bass, two flutes, daring, oboe, bas¬ soon, two trumpets, two horns, two trombones and the kettle drums The piano aeoompaniats were A'ank- lin E. Kostenbader and Daniel E. Rohn. The characters included Mona Van Natu Marcks. Thomas N. N. Brit¬ ton, Wesley E Bender. WiUlam Oano Jr., and Florence Heller Wolfinger. The oratoria was under tte cap¬ able direction of Miss Mae M. YeU¬ ley Mlss Yeisley organiaed the Choral Society. Another splendid feature of tte evening was tte piano solos by Ruth Becker Meyers, given between the parts of the oratorio. Mrs Meyers is the accompanist •¥ the Bach choir, and one of tte best pianists in this part of tte state. Haydn Creation Rendered
A large audience of music-lovers heard and commended the rendition of Haydn's "Creation" Friday even¬ ing in tte High school audltoriuni. by the Nazareth Choral Society. The great oratorio was eflectively and inspirlngly rendered, accompanied by a capable orchestra which was directed by S. Wavrek. Arrange¬ ments for tte orctestra were made by Jesae Kreldler, of town. .
The oratorio consisted of three parts, representing tte creation of tte world and all living creatures In six daya Tte chorus of 135 sang in an inaplrlnt maimer tbrougteut tte oraCorfo. Tbey were accompanied by a capable orctestra, directed by S. Wavrek, consisting of four flrst vio¬ lins, three second violins, viola, cello, bass, two flutes, daring, oboe, bas¬ soon, two trumpets, two horns, two trombones and the kettle drums The piano aeoompaniats were A'ank- lin E. Kostenbader and Daniel E. Rohn.
The characters included Mona Van Natu Marcks. Thomas N. N. Brit¬ ton, Wesley E Bender. WiUlam Oano Jr., and Florence Heller Wolfinger.
The oratoria was under tte cap¬ able direction of Miss Mae M. YeU¬ ley Mlss Yeisley organiaed the Choral Society.
Another splendid feature of tte evening was tte piano solos by Ruth Becker Meyers, given between the parts of the oratorio. Mrs Meyers is the accompanist •¥ the Bach choir, and one of tte best pianists in this part of tte state.
