It ts not a pipe organ in that it containa no pipea nor doea It contain tny air preuure sys¬ tem or vibrating parts. It is an organ, however, since it ts capable of pro¬ ducing organ tones. The organ cre¬ ates miuieal tones electrically. It does not produce a copy from an original as a phonograph does—It does not simply transmit music as a radio does— It actually creates mus¬ ical tones electrically. It covers the entire range of musical tone color with extraordinary beauty and flex¬ ibility. And Its volume is tdapuble to every type of installation. The mechanism consists of small rotattag tone wheels geared together and driven by a synchronous motor. The motor can run at only one .speed: Therefore, the organ can never be out of tune. This feature alone, which will be appreciated by. all muslclaa.s. is enough b»-oePT!ilm this organ a unique instrument. It was prestated to the church by Mrs ostenbader and Mrs Or.tce ^rlinildt. as a memorial to their p.ir- cnt.s, Elmer atid Emily Laub. ORGAN TO BE DEDKATB) SUNDAY AT BELFAST CIIURCH
new Hammond memorial an, recently InstaUed ta the Oraoe Evangelical Lutheran Church tt Bel¬ fast, will be dedicated at a special serviee to be conducted Sunday. AprU 10th. "Dte inaugural recital on the new efgan wUl be played by A. Ray- Moore of Reading, followed by ropriate program.
The Hammond Organ is a new musical Instrument.
