Feuton. an ex-crimlnal of Chi¬ cago. Mr. Fenton at one time was a notorious figure In the Chicago underworld and known from coast to coast, told In an Interesting manner the atory of hia lite. He aald bU career of crime began In youth when he frequented pool rooms, dance balls and salqons, where be fell in with an evil lot of companions. His course flnally led to the penitentiary where he spent eight out of his twenty crim¬ inal yeurs. On leaving prl.son he was lo meet three other well known criminals aiong the Chict^O waterfront and plan another Job. The three failed to appear and Fenton walked away flnally pass¬ ing a mission. He was attracted Inaide and was invited to the af¬ ternoon service. This invitation he accepted and was converted, turning at once from a criminal career.
