Kalbash was trying to pass a Nazareth-Bangor bus. but a.s he passed It a truck approached in the opposite direction. He had to cut In ahead uf the bus too soon, caught the front of it and his car rolled over, landing on Its top with the wheels sticking up in the air. He was thrown out. Kalbash. wlio waa meccompan- ied, was at flrst thought ta be bad¬ ly hurt and was taken to the office of Dr. J. A. Fetherolf at Stocker* town, where he was treated. He sustained a cut on his forehead and a lacerated hand both of which bled profusely. The top of the auto was demolii-hed and it waa otherwise damaged also. Its allU>d military nnd seml-niilitary organizations jour¬ neyed to Kaston to participate In the annual county's Armistice day celebration and parade and helped to make it the finest demonstru- llon since tbe occurrence of the original Armistice Day. November 11. 1918. Tho Nazareth division was head¬ ed by the Nazareth band. The \a!- gion post followed and were ac¬ companied by Its skillfully tlriiled Ladles' Auxiliary. The ladies looked amappy In their marching uniforms of white, blue C8i>es and regulation hats and went through Intricate evolutions at the com¬ mand of Comrade Allen D. Trox¬ ell. Tho organization was awarded first prize for being the best ap- |)earing American liCglon Auxiliary in line. The Nazareth Hall Military Academy cadet battalion marching under orders of their command- •int. A large consolidated group of Itoy Scouts from the various local and Schoeneck troupes under the jurisdiction of Scout Masters Sny¬ der and Whitesell appeared In line as a well-drilled group. The Mothers of 1917 occupied a very conspicuous pjace In line as they rode over the route in Klip- pie's large bus. In the rear of the entire parade was the float of the American Red Cross, drawn by horses, very sim¬ ple, but most striking in appear¬ ance and a squad of local Boy Scouts had the honor of being the guard of honor.
