The question ol procuring a suitable location under itste supervision where game could be liberated and hunt- taB be permitted during open season was thoroughly discuss¬ ed and the game committee was instructed to inquire just what action would be necessary in order to get further co- ooeration from the sUte on the matter. Another suggestion oflered was that the flsh procured for re-stocking purposea by the Club should be placed in nrotected pools until they mature to such a size that the other large ftsh will not eat them. The suggestion Is worthy at attention becauae of the known fact that a great many of the smaller fry are eaten by the larger flsh aa aoon aa they are Placed in a stream or lake and that as many are lost In that manner aa by atream pollution which was also discussed. The crow shooting contest sponsored by tt\e Club is in full swing and aU ragiatratlona must be made with the McreUry Harry Oower, before February 15 or at the store of Wilhelm Kneeht, who will register the total number shot by each hunter. Rod and Gun Club Elects; Activities Under Way
The directors of the Nazareth Rod and Oun Club met , »ug home of Oeorge Orim and at a re-organization meet¬ ina re-elected Roy Kostenbader. president; H. P. Veisle.v, •lee Dresident; S. J. Noll, treaaurer; Harry Oower. secretary; PS Searles, assistant secretary: John Knecht, chairman of mme conimittee; Floyd Kauffman. chairman of flsh com¬ mittee and Frank W. Oold, chairman of fleld activities.
