Efforts are being put forth in tho advancement of the Castle. At the meeting. Brother Frank Huth, one of the charter members of No. 396, presented brother S. R. Odenwelder, who has served the castle faithfully for the past thirty years, with a solid gold Veterans Badge, suitably engraved. The pre¬ sentation was made in Brother liulh's usual cheerful and happy n.anner and as the gift came so unexpected Brother Odenwelder was for the time non-plused, but came hack strong with the statement that while ho retired from the post he has served, that never the less, that he was always ready at the castle'i call for service, a fact which must j be admitted. Th s is a great lesson for thoso of younger years. It was unanimously decided that I our good Bro'her should be greeted I in our salutations as "Pappy" Odon- welder, as a token of esteem for his honest and faithful service, and a reminder of duty, devotion and ser¬ vice. _ Sons of Veterans Captain Oweu Rice Canip.tN'o. 20, j Sons of Veterans, has installed tho | following officers to serve for the ensuing year: Commander, Arthur ; Nolf; Senior Vice-Commander, Fred | Werner; Junior Vice-Commander Oeorge Hagenbuch; Treasurer, Charles Stuber; Secretary, Charles Whitesell; Camp Council, Roy Wer- i.r r.
