The store at Belfast is now in charge of his brother. Elmer W. Laub. Mr. Laub was a former vice-presi¬ dent of the Phoenix Portland Cement Company, president of the N'orthamp¬ ton Hard Vein Slate Company, a di¬ rector of the Nazareth National Bank and ranked with the substantial pro¬ gressive men of his section. In politics he was a Republican and he served as postmaster of Belfast from l^^^d until l^^Oii. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church. N'azareth; .Aluta T.odge. No. IS**. I. O. O. He is survived by bis widow and one son and two daughters: Herbert F. Laub. ot Easton. a mem¬ ber of the law firm of Smith. Paff & Laub; Miss .Amy F.. and Miss Ella C. Laub, of Nazareth.
