The High Srhool j students made the nofse this time in I a good manner and for a good reason. | The determination of both teams to ' win made this a good game. Broad. | Buss and Weiss played an extremely ! good game during the first half. | Many limes the ball was in the hands i of a Hall player when Weiss or Cle- ' well would spoil their play, keepin..' i the bal! near the X, H. Several players wer.' bumped up but none of the huinps wore so injurious that any of the players were removed from the game. The Hall boys had an idea that it they could remove Captain l.aiideiibach from the floor they could run iij. the score, but they were dis- iiiipointod in this matter, becnu.s.' 'llie Hall boys went home in '.viiy instead of making a lot o; down lown. as they did some Satur- i ihiys past when they won by the clos^ ! score of 17-16. |
S. basket, j "Shorty" Clewell. the all-around man. , would go for the ball when a Hall '¦ player had it, as If he was going for a pot of gold, and Sam when he got the ball there was no chance for any Hall player to get it from him. Once In a while a player would take a spill but would jump up and get in the game as if nothing happened. Weiss end- . (1 rji" score for the flrst half by mak- itc: 1 tlold goal which made the score 13-0.
The second half opened with a bang, both teams entering the game in a war-like spirit. Several players wer.' bumped up but none of the huinps wore so injurious that any of the players were removed from the game. The Hall boys had an idea that it they could remove Captain l.aiideiibach from the floor they could run iij. the score, but they were dis- iiiipointod in this matter, becnu.s.'
