Palm Sunday In St John's Lutheran Church
Palm Sunday services in thu Moravian Church were largely •.'- tended all day. At the morning service the pastor preached a sermon OP "Christ and The Christian 'SValk" in which he outlined the Christ of God as King and Saviour. "The towering and transcendent thought nj Palm Sunday Is the Kingship of Jesus in every department of liff. As King and Saviour He offers Hitn- self to all, and to be rooted aud built UII in Him for the day of ajid testing." The reception of mem bers and confirmation after the ser¬ mon was a most solemn part of the morning service. During silou' prayer the Male Chorus sang "'Just As I Am"—Beck, most effectively.
The choir sang "As the Hart I ants," aud Miss Anna Ziegler, "These Are They Which Came Out of Great Tribulation" at their be.st.
At the evening service the Choi;' tendered, "Blessed is He That. Cometh iu the Name ot the Lord" und "O Bethanlen" in a most credit¬ able manner.
The Sunday School and choir alij sang the beautiful "Hosanna" by Cregor.
