Miss Catharine Printz Welder, as a read¬ er and pianist, and Miss Florence Evel- hn Baer, of Allentown. as the vocaliat. \v hile this was the initial appearance * these two \ouiig ladies in Nazareth, they have won for themselves, a reputatioa with the public such that was way ba- jond expectation. Miss Welder is an ac¬ complished reader and pianist and it seems a problem for the public to decide if si.e is not the best of this kind that has prformed on our local "V ' platforra. ,\l)ss Baer, too, is a very accomplished vocalist and her sweet voice rang thru the auditorium, and sounded like th* S'veet melotlious tones from the /lute. She has won many admirers in Ihe audience Ihomas Achenbach, violin soloist, Biainard Union Church, Easton, render- I several violin .solos Mr. Achenbach needs no introduction to the music lov¬ ing people of this locality, for everyone knows that his work is of such a pleas¬ ing and cfTetcive manner lie is an able performer and a promi.sing future awaits him. .Mr, Achenbach was accompanied by i linmas F. \ erger, organist of the Col¬ lege Hill Presbyterian Church, Easton. fhe "V" Band, under the direction of I'air new instructor.
