Council ordered the erection of one or more .screens in the stream prior to tiie point It leaves the borough limits Council recommended to change the "Stop" sign on Ea-^ton pike and Broad street to the Broad street side of the street and decided to leave the "Stop" sign at the Fair Oround intersection as placed. The borough will recommend the noted change to the Pennsylvania State Highway Department. "The finance committee stated the need of $4000 for current expenses and the treasurer was autiiorized o negotiate a loan of that amount from the Second National Bank of Nazareth. The Council ordered the secretary and engineer to make application to the WPA for another WPA pave- j^ent project. "The finance committee stated the need of $4000 for current expenses and the treasurer was autiiorized o negotiate a loan of that amount from the Second National Bank of Nazareth. The Council ordered the secretary and engineer to make application to the WPA for another WPA pave- j^ent project. Authorization was made during the meeting to pay current bills amounting to $4300 and to purchase tiiree 10 K.V.A. transformers for use at the Municipal Park. The present transformers are rated to carry g K.VA., whereas they are actually carrying a load of more than three times that. The Vigilance Hose Company was authorized at the meeting to appear in the Four County Parade of Fire¬ men at East Mauch Chunk on June 17, with the Seagrave truck President J.
