Hjjrsliey Briefs A Little kfccutr You, About Your Neighbor and Things In General Some of the young men of the Hershey Chocolate Company are somewhat of adept& in playing tennis. They had de-<; cided to meet on Saturday afternoon and put in I condition the tennis court in Hershey Park. The only one who. made h's appearance was Dr. Leslie.: Irvin Gordonihad promised to give his sssist-ance, bjiit Irvin forgot about it and went fishing.1 So the only thing that Dr. could do was to return home, as he said he was jinvswiggled if he was gomg to do all the work by himself. The iY. M. C. A. meeting will be. held on Sunday afternoon at 3:80 o'clock. Mr. S.J D. Clark, of Hummelstown, R. F. D., will make the address^. Mr. John Brock, manager of the Oxr ford Caramel Company, of Oxford, Pa., was a visitor of Mr. George Eppley on Saturday. Mr. Brock was formerly con-nected with Mr. M. &'¦ Hershey in the caramel business in Lancaster. Miss B. M. Strahan , connected with the Standard Caramel Company, of Lan-caster.' Pa., was ihHershey on Thursday on a ibusiness trip, Miss Strahan was formerly office manager for Mr. M. S. Hershey in Lancaster. Dancing on Saturday evening was well attended. The 6-piece orchestra did ex-cellent, especially when you consider that! it was the first time" that' all oi the members have been together. (Continued on page 16) The above is an illustration of the Hershey Block. This two and" one-half story buildmg is, With - out a doubt , one of the finest buildings in the state of Pennsylvania. Mr. M. S. Hershey will present this building to the Hershey Y. M..C. A., and by next September the Association will make it its permanent quarters. Quite a number of improvements are to be'made. A large gymnasium ;and swimming pool is to be erected , which will, be equipped with an apparatus that is right up to the minute. The members of the Hewhey Y. M. C. A. will have a home that they can well be proud of. In fact , it will well compa re with any in the larger cities. Every young man in this vicinity ought to be a member. You will never have reason to regret it. Future Home of the Y. M. G. A.
