The Y. M. G. A. a Live Issue! Are You a Member} We, the subscribers, interested in the spiritual, mental, social and physical welfare of the young men and boys of Hersbey and vicinity, and believing that we can labor together most effectively for the promotion of these ends in the organization of a Y. M: C. A., agree to become members of such an association when it shall be organized in our midst, providing the organization is effected on, or before Dec. 1st, 1910. Snavely, Hershey. 12 New Names added ' on Thursday afternoon Mr. and Mrs[. Earl Mays were in Leb-anon on: Saturday evening, visiting Mrs. Mays' mother, Mrs. Sarah A. Shirk. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Murrie and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Snavely partook of the hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. C. S..Maul-fair, of Annville, on Sunday., Mr. Ezra Gingrich, proprietor of the livery at this place, has sold out his in-terests to Mr. David Gordonrwho is our tax collector, and resides on Mr. Meyer's farm, near Gampbelltown. Mr. Gordon will hold public sale, and will, in the near future reside in Hershey. The carpenters have all but rebuilt the smoke-house on the Valley Glen farm that was recently burned. Endeavoring to capture a sparrow that had housed itself in the new Laun-dry, building on Sunday morning Master Jacob Hummel ' fell from the rafters, breaking his right arm. How about the Hershey Evening School? Are you a member? If not, why aren't you? Its benefits are many, so why not enroll? The membership roll consists of more than twenty-five. This ought, to be increased to at least one hundred. Sessions are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. . Mr, Ezra Hershey Was in Philadelphia on Wednesday on business. • Mr. Geo.
