Within this handsome structure , as we enter , are two sago plants. In the center of the building is a large pyramid , containing a large number of foliage plants of different variety . Topping :the pyramid is a fine .specimen o f a caladium , or com-monly known as elephant ears. In the. northern end is a fine grove of bay trees; here are also a number of .azaleas. These are now in bloom. Nearby are eight boxwood trees. In the southern end are the trop ical plants , viz., palms , rubber plants , etc. On the concrete tables which surround the entire buildirig, are over 2000 geraniums in pots. Also masses of blue ageratum and double petunias. One large section will contain the Easter flowers—-tuli ps , hyacinths and narcissus. On the pavement are 30 Japanese cherry trees (in pots) laden with berries. , In the southern end is the aquarium . - This is of a very novel construction , being built of old weathered rocks. This contains a large number of gold fish , together with a number of water plants. The Conservatory is open for visitors at all times. Shaffner was in Lebanon on Saturday evening attending the Family threater, Mrs. Morris Wenger, of- Paradise, Pa., visited her mother, Mrs. S. Behm, 6n Sunday, The Misses J^pose, of Palmyra, and Miss Shnffner, of Hummelstown, were visitors of Miss May Hershey on Sat-urday. , :J.- Mr. Frank Ache, of the Lehigh .Gar Wheel' and Axle Co., of Catasauqua, Pa., is superintending the installing of a large Fuller pulverizer mill'"' in the Hershey Chocolate Co.. Ed. Gross and Jesse McSherry were in Lancaster on Sunday.. . Mrs. Earl Mays was in Harrisbarg on. Friday. Mr. Meal Dougherty* of Rbscoe, Pa., has accepted a position in the .Hershejr Chocolate- Co., and"wlll be a-member of the Hershey baseball team for the com-ing season. Dougherty, who is a sec-ond baseman- and outfielder,, is a. fast man and comes with a reputation as a hitter. Dougherty and Hinlde were both members of the Franklin, Pa. team of the Inter-state, league in 1900. Mr. Ralph Maulfair visited friends in Salunga on Sunday.
