Other Hershey girls taking part in the Junior Figure Skating Club's annual presentation are Patricia Horst, Ellen Stehlik, Toni Grabowski, Nan Smith, Sandra Gibble, Joan Schelhorn, Peggy Evans, Betsy Evans, Patricia Keefer, Linda Lauzon and Beth Jacques. The show will be the twenty-second annual ice carnival and will be presented for the public on Saturday evening under the direction of Betty Lee and Gerrard Blair, skating professionals at the Sports Arena. The ten were elected to the honor society by the school faculty in recognition of their superior scholarship, leadership, character and service. It is the highest honor the school can bestow upon any of the members of the student body. Induction ceremonies were held at a special assembly on April 17, when the charter granted by the National Council of the Honor Society was presented by W. Allen Hammond, principal, to W. Lyndon Hess, chairman of the Council of the Spartan Chapter. Other Council members are Doris Bitting, Orville Strait, Andrew Kovach and Richard Rudisill. Daylight Saving Time To Return On Sunday Come Saturday night we'll all be clock watchers. Because, if we don't watch out the clock will be an hour slow in the morning and we'll be late for Sunday School. Probably an hour late. The reason: Daylight Sav-ing Time returns to Hershey at the appointed hour of two o'clock Sunday morning, April 28. On that date two a. m. will be three a.m., if you follow the thought. The clock hands get pushed ahead an hour. The Daylight Saving sys-tem doesn't require anyone to stay up until two o'clock, how-ever, just to reset the clock. Most people will attend to that at bedtime—except those who will forget it anyway. And—oh, yes—better go to bed an hour earlier if you want to break even on the sleep. 'Old Days' Are Recalled By Old Newspaper 132 Golf-Playing Hershey Employees Sign For Tourney A recent article concerning the HERSHEY PRESS of the early '20's reminded 'Wrap-ping Department Supervisor Don Shay that he had a well preserved edition of the old HERSHEY PRESS for Thurs-day, November 4, 1915, with supplement. It was Volume 7, Number 7. "1915 The Record Year In America's Most Remarkable Town" was the banner head-line. "Great Social Center Build-ing Will Be Started in the Spring" was a front page story, with a remarkable four-column picture of the pro-posed Community Building, the work of Mr. C. Emlen Ur-ban, the architect of the building. Although the Com-munity Building was not ded-icated until September 1933, nonetheless the sketch could easily pass for a modern day photograph. There is a picture of the (Continued on Page Four) One hundred thirty - two golfers have signed up for participation in the annual Hershey Employees' Golf Tournament this summer, with the local swingers di-vided into six teams of twen-ty- two men each. Team captains are Art Gar-rison, Bill O'Neal, Harry Reese, Brent Hancock, Gene Smith and Harry Zimmer-man. The opening match at the Park Golf Club will be held May 4 through 9, with Team 1 meeting Team 2; Team 3, Team 4; and Team 5 meeting Team 6.
