Departments of the Hershey Chocolate Corporation will work two four-hour shifts, where-ever possible. Special schedules are being followed by departments of the Hershey Estates. Fresh - frozen turkeys will be dis-tributed to employees of the Hershey Chocolate Corporation, Hershey Es-tates and Milton Hershey School. Married women whose husbands work for Hershey have a choice of hams. • Monday, Dec. 26, will be observed as the Christmas holiday. Monday, Jan. 2, 1961, will be ob-served as the New Year's holiday. The factory will be closed wherever possible, as will offices and depart-ments of the Hershey Estates. Friday, Dec. 30, 1960, will be a normal work day at both the factory and the Hershey Estates. Judges Named For Rotary Home Decoration Contest Judges in the annual Home Christmas Decoration contest spon-sored by the Rotary Club of Her-shey are Roy L. Bomgardner, Clyde P. Stacks. and Daniel L. Backenstose. In order that all homes will be included in the judges' itinerary, entries should be filed with Edwin K. Zechman, Chairman, 853 Linden Road, Hershey. Deadline for entries is Dec. 27. Judging will be carried out Dec. 27 and 28. Working with Zechman on the Rotary Club's flume Christmas ration- contest committee are George H. Booth, Donald B. Chubb, and George W. Miller. Two Long-Time Employees Of Hershey Chocolate Corporation To Be Retired Four Assistant Superintendents Named Two long-time employees of the Hershey Chocolate Cor-poration will retire December 31, 1960. They are Irvin H. Slesser, Purchasing Agent and Clarence J. Speicher, Super-intendent of Production. Mr. Slesser, who has completed 47 years of service, be-gan his career with Hershey in the factory. He later trans-ferred to the general offices and has been Purchasing Agent since 1930. Robert G. Owens will assume this position upon Mr. Slesser's retirement. Mr. Speicher will have completed nearly 40 years of service upon his retirement. Although not continuous, his tenure dates back to 1919. He has been Superintendent of Production for 24 years. Robert M. Bucher will continue as Superintendent of Production and four Assistant Superintendents have been named. They are: Charles W. Black, Donald C. Shay, Earl J. Spangler and Robert D. Steck. Chhi•Abna44 This year's chocolate, red and green greeting card to employees depicts a lighted, snow-covered lamp post at Chocolate and Cocoa Avenues, casting out a warming holiday greeting: "As the year 1960 nears its close, our sincere wish is that the joys and peace of this Christmas season will remain with you through all of the coming year." Cards for employees of the Hershey Chocolate Corporation are signed by J. J. Gallagher, Chairfnan of the Board, and S. F. Hinkle, President. President J. B. Sollenberger signed the Hershey Estates cards; and J. E.
