Peak bloom for the 42,000 reses is expected to last until June 30. Twenty-five new varieties of roses emphasize this the 25th anniversary of the Rose Gardens, symbolizing twenty-five years of awe-inspiring beauty — a magnificant tribute to Milton S. Hershey — creator of Her-shey Chocolate and founder of Her-shey, Pennsylvania. The new varie-ties include the two All-Americans for 1963 — Tropicana, a brilliant orange - red and Royal Highness, a cllear shell pink. Both are hybrid teas. Some of the other new roses are Girl Scout, Speaker Sam, Cherry Glow, Chicago Peace and Summer Sunshine. The floral beauty of the roses in this garden of enchantment, is com-plimented with fifty varieties of peonies, hybird rhododendrons and azaleas, weigela and beauty bush. Varigated dogwood join the weeping white birch as they contrast with the blood-red maple and the dark mar-oon of the plum tree.
