The United States Air Force Drum and Bugle Corps, a revelation in Drum and Bugle Corps artistry and one of the most unique musical units in the Armed Forces today, will put in a guest appearance at the parade which will commence at 2 p.m. Serving as Honorary Fire Chief for the nine division parade will be the Honorable John C. Kunkel of Her-risburg. Grand Marshal will be John B. Sollenberger, former president of the Hershey Estates. Business sessions for the affair will be held on June 14 at 10 a.m., 1:30 and 7 p.m. in the Little Theatre of the Community Center. New Eligibility & Rate Schedule For Community Center "Family Fun For Everyone" through expanded recreational op-portunities twelve months of the year is the objective of the Her-shey Community Center. Profes-sional leadership in excellent fa-eilitie3 has been a trademark of the Center for years to those par-ticipating in the many activities which have been offered. While the past has reflected suc-cessful and memorable service, the Center is continually striving to provide better services. There have been recent additions to the full-time and part-time staff, which have made possible the in. creased program opportunities that will be available this summer. Major improvements to existing facilities have been underway for three months and will continue into the fall. These improvements are for the sole purpose of being able to ,expand the program and services to the community. Loom-ing large upon the scene along Cocoa Avenue is an addition to the Hershey Community Center - The Cocoa Avenue Plaza - which will be dedicated September 14, 1963. This new addition plus the im-provements to the Community Center will provide, for example, far superior accommodations for the recreational and Girl Scouting activities currently being held in the Women's Building. The Hershey Community Center is on the move, and is involved in the largest program of expan-sion in its history. The Center cur-rently ,operates the Community Center, the Juvenile Golf Course, the Women's Building, and the Community Camp. The improve-ments to facilities, the increases to our staff, and the addition of the Cocoa Avenue Plaza combine to provide one of the finest com-munity recreational environments in the country. The fine facilities we have at our disposal have been given to the community by Milton S. Hershey and subsequently through the Hershey Companies. In the past, the costs of operat-ing the facilities and underwriting program expenses have been shared in by the participants. The expanded program including the Cocoa Avenue Plaza, other facility improvements, and additional staff - will, of course, increase these costs. The new rate schedule will be based on a calendar year. The "Required" rate will include the use of all facilities except the Juv-enile Golf Course and the Cocoa Avenue Plaza Tennis Courts. Also, the new rate schedule will include all program functions with the ex-ception of certain adult special-interest activities Of above-average leadership and/or material costs. For the convenience of our patrons, rates Will be billed' quarterly, the effective date of the new schedule will be announced later. Junior College students who do not take out the normal privilege card will be billed separately in conjunction with their matriculation. In reviewing the rate schedule, first find the category which ap-plies to you concerning your em-ployment status.
