| Description | 296 (did I drop back 10?) 306 Sunday night 9:30 pm 19 August My darling, Another letter from you today - can't tell you how good it feels, and love hearing about Wendy's peeking around the kitchen to the front door and saying “Daddy?” Do you really think she'll know what's up when I come home? I think your idea of having the Guadelupe woman in when you come up to San Francisco to meet me an excellent one - just the way I should like to have it - yes, Sweetie, I'll take care of the hotel room (and all the other details!) Now you mustn't anticipate too strongly, for it'll be a while yet. I've spent the evening writing a couple of letters in search of job information, following suggestions by john Embree, and filling out the semi-annual fitness report. Incidentally, if I should still be in the Navy by the end of December I start getting a “fogey” for 3 years’ service. I think it amounts to [pg 2 MISSING] [pg 3] Them and have taken them out of the notebook (where I keep them for a time with the letter) to look at several times. When you hear what happens to the Boulder men at CASA, honey, let me know. You might inquire of one of them now, if you haven't heard. It's time I was a-bedding. How does it feel to be sleeping in our pajamas again - or do you have them yet? Another pair should be on the way to you shortly now.
