Five Days to Yokohama
August 7, 1920
Dear Ida, Everett and Ernest,
I�ve been waiting to write to you till I was not so �busy�(?) and since there are only a few days to port, with the possibility of rough weather between, I�d better forego my busy resting and get started at least. I hardly know what to say, for the events of the journey I�m writing in one letter and you are to have it when it comes around so I�ll repeat. It is tiresome to write the same so often. So here goes �specials� to you.
I just feel now that it is about time the Dodge is turning in at your place again. I�ve been terribly spoiled this year and fear I�ll have a hard time to
